Hey! Nice to meet ya!

My name is Sheamin and I am a college student who loves everything about amigurumi crochet. Making, designing, selling- you name it, I do it. Here is my crochet journey...

I started crocheting in 6th grade when I came across a cute looking video on Youtube. It had the thumbnail of a bunch of cute little cacti dolls in pots. I don't remember what I thought the video was going to be, but I think it piqued my interest and so I gave it a watch. It turned out to be an amigurumi crochet tutorial on how to make those dolls. Interestiiing... but there's no way I can make that. 

Or can I...?

As I watched more, it seemed that it actually wasn't that hard. Insert the hook, pull up some yarn; I thought to myself, "I think I can do that..."

And I could! The rest is history. Once I bought all my supplies, I was making and making and making. I started selling a few dolls after 2 years, and after 4 years I began to make my own patterns and designs. I've made an Etsy and grown a small following on my purely amigurumi Instagram.

And it all started with a interesting Youtube video.

I hope this inspires you to try out something new. Maybe you'll like it, maybe you won't. But you'll never know until you try. So go for it!
